There are coves in Mallorca that simply cannot be seen from land. The only way to reach them is from the sea, and paddle surfing is the perfect vehicle to explore them. Silent, ecological and allowing you to approach the shoreline without damaging the seabed.
Cala en Tugores (Serra de Tramuntana)
On the north coast, between Sóller and Deià, several coves are only accessible by sea. Deep blue waters, surrounded by Mediterranean pines and cliffs that drop directly into the water. A place where civilisation feels very far away.
Cala Varques (Manacor)
Most prefer to arrive by SUP from Porto Cristo or Cala Murada. Its waters are a unique emerald green in Mallorca, with a visible bottom several metres deep. There are sea caves in the vicinity that can be explored from the board.
Es Caló de sa Barca Trencada (Santanyí)
A name few tourists know but which locals guard carefully. On the southeast coast, this small cove of white limestone and intense turquoise water is only accessible by sea. Spectacular at any time of day, but especially at sunset.
Cala Egos (Cala d’Or)
The most spectacular way to arrive is by SUP from Cala d’Or. The 3 km route skirts a coast of small coves, low pine-covered cliffs and waters ranging from green to blue. The cove itself is narrow, horseshoe-shaped and very well sheltered from the wind.
The Caves of Cala Falcó
Near Portals Vells in southwest Mallorca, Cala Falcó is known for its caves carved into rock that extends into the water. By SUP you can literally enter these geological formations and paddle between stalactites. A truly unique experience.
