How we teach

Aprender a surfear in Mallorca tiene una ventaja: las olas suelen ser pequeñas y manejables, perfectas para iniciarse sin miedo. Nuestras clases siguen una progresión clara:

    Warm-up and technique on the sand: paddling, take-off, stance.First waves lying down: catching whitewater, feeling the board.Take-off on knees and feet: el momento del "primer baño en pie".Surf on a formed wave: first turn, basic wave reading.
Knowing the spot is key. Before each session we brief you on tide, wave direction and the best entry point.

Frequently asked questions about surf in Mallorca

¿De verdad hay olas in Mallorca?
Sí, aunque no como en la costa atlántica. La Bay of Palma funciona con vientos del sur y este. Otoño e invierno son las mejores temporadas, pero también hay days buenos en verano.
Can I learn to surf without being a strong swimmer?
You need some comfort in the water. For beginners we stay in shallow areas, but swimming is essential.
Minimum age for the courses?
From 6 years old with a suitable instructor. We have softboards in sizes appropriate for kids.
What if there are no waves on the day of my lesson?
We let you know in advance and reschedule at no cost. If you prefer, we can run a paddle surf or flat-water intro lesson.
Do you have a surf camp?
Yes — we run camps and intensive weeks. Check the Campus section of the site.
