What does a child actually do on a camp morning? At El Niño Surf Center we don’t repeat the same sport every day: we mix several water disciplines so kids try a bit of everything and discover what they love most. Here are the activities at our kids’ summer camp in Mallorca and what a typical morning in Can Pastilla looks like.

Nine activities in a single week
Over the week, groups rotate through these disciplines, all adapted to their age and level:
- Stand-up paddle (SUP): the perfect starting point for balance and confidence on the board.
- Surf: an introduction to waves in safe water.
- eFoil: the electric hydrofoil board that flies above the water, a real thrill.
- Kayak: short crossings and team paddling games.
- BigSUP: a giant board the whole group climbs onto, pure fun and teamwork.
- Wingsurf and windsurf: first tacks under sail.
- Beach volleyball and land games: a break from the water without sitting still.

What a day at camp looks like
The camp runs in the morning, from 9:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday. We start with a welcome and warm-up, hand out the equipment and the groups head into the water with their instructor. Mid-morning there is a snack break (fruit is best, to keep energy up), followed by a second activity block that we usually finish with a game or a team challenge.
Equipment included, safety first
All technical equipment is included: boards, paddles, wetsuits and life vests. Each group has a qualified instructor (FEW, IKO, ISA) and a small ratio of 8 to 10 children. Kids only need to know how to swim; the rest is learned along the way. Each participant should bring a swimsuit or rash vest, a cap, sunscreen, water and a snack.
Let them try the sport they like best
The best part of the camp is that your child does not have to choose: they try them all. Check the calendar and book a place on the summer camp in Mallorca page or message us on WhatsApp at +34 692 19 94 36.
